Iran participate in the Fitur Tourism Fair, organized to be held in Madrid from January 17 to 20. In the 38th Fitur Fair, Iran displays its latest capacities and innovations regarding tourism industry. Iran's Ambassador to Madrid, Mohammad Hassan Fadaeifar, said that Iran is going to powerfully take part in the Madrid Tourism Fair, reported by ISNA news agency on Saturday. "The Iranian booths are always among the most visited booths in the exhibition," he said, stating that each year, participating countries display their latest tourism achievements and innovations regarding tourism industry. The ambassador also said that in this opportunity the participants share their knowledge and experience and establish bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He added that facilitating the visa process and direct flights between Iran and Spain will certainly facilitate tourism exchange between two countries. "This year, 23 Iranian tourism companies participate in the Fitur through the sponsorship of the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism (ICHTO), and a number of tourism organizations" he said. Iran’s Vice-President and the ICHTO Chief Ali Asghar Moonesan will also attend at the Fitur Tourism Fair. He will visit the latest achievements of the exhibition. He will meet his Spanish counterpart and other Spanish tourism officials and the head of hotel-owners association. It is noteworthy that Fitur is one of the most important tourism fair, held annually in Madrid, attended by company at least 10,000 companies and also visited by 134,000 specialists from around the globe.
