A photo collection of Abbas Kiarostami from the Louvre will be exhibited in Tehran

A collection of photos taken by the great Iranian director, the late Abbas Kiarostami of the Louvre will be exhibited simultaneously with the exhibition "The Louvre Museum in Tehran" to be held in March. The exhibition "The Louvre Museum in Tehran" presenting more than 50 works from different departments of the Louvre will open on Monday, March 5 at the National Museum of Iran in Tehran in the presence of several political, cultural and artistic personalities of both countries. At the same time, a collection of photos that the famous Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami had taken during his visits to the Louvre entitled "Look at Me" will also be exhibited for the first time. Born June 22, 1940 in Tehran in a modest family, Kiarostami first interested in drawing and followed studies at the Beaux-Arts while minting his talents as a graphic designer and director of commercials. He managed to win the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997 for "The taste of the cherry". Kiarostami deceased in France in 2016 at the age of 76 due to cancer. God Bless him…
