Hafez is a great Iranian poet of the 14th AD century and one of the world's most famous lecturers. He Is one the most influential poets which had a great impact on the next generation of poets and Iranian Literature. His poems which most of them were sonnets that are known as Hafiz's sonnets were translated into European languages in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and his name also reached the literary circles of the Western world opening the doors of Persian literature to the world .
Each year on Oct 12th Hafez Commemoration ceremony will be held in Hafezieh in Shiraz with the presence of Iranian and International Scholars and many others who just love Hafez poems
